What specific gravity are they coming in to the store and also in their QT system. I suspect 1.018. You can’t acclimate to 1.026 (if that is what your DT is at) in 1 day. This is the situation at my lfs and I have him slowly acclimate up to 1.026 for me over a few days so I can drop into my observation or QT tank. Just something to think about.

That’s a big tank so you pull probably do it. I have a Coris Gaimard which is even bigger so..
