I was chatting to the young lady at my lfs today about my damaged convict tang and it made me think?
Essay time:confused: Atleast I get to do it on something fun. Doing a 5 page research paper on ww2 planes and the lasting affects of aviation. It’s for my American history class

I am no economist, but can the increased cost be due to the 4 to 8 trillion dollars they printed? Seems like they just made all the money we have dutifully saved worth less.
Inflation wont start for a bit. It's the fact that meat plants have closed. Also places that produced for restaurants and schools have had demand lost. That all puts loads of pressure on grocery store producers and that's how we end up with shortages and higher prices.

Excuse the double quote!
I am old enough to remember that Britain and Europe have a great debt of gratitude for WW2, I am 57 and am thankful to be still breathing, you young man are the future, no pressure! :)

Restaurants opened up yesterday in Idaho. The gold rush is on as out of state people rush back to the new normal. 10' between tables and waitresses with masks to pick your pocket and take your order lol. Local dirt bike track was open as well with lots of local riders trying to keep distance between the fastest riders lol. 250 plus miles on my street bike just trying to shake the quarantine blues. Have a great day all!

World War II Museum in New Orleans. This is such an awesome display and the pictures do it no justice. Please go if you ever have the opportunity. I posted this before in the old thread, but there are a lot of new people here.

Btw, anyone else's grocery bill high??? Killin' me.
Yep, just spent $200 this morning...and didnt come home with much at all. Got steaks for my bday dinner tonight, bday is Tuesday ;Smuggrin, $18.99/lb , I'm used to them being at most 11.99/lb. Of course I partially blame it on living in a tourist town, which is now FULL of vacationers ;Shifty

Ugh I’m jealous! Love those f4us and that mustang though. It’s crazy how far back the air intake is for that big ole supercharged Merlin. I believe it had to be there because of the tail wheel it overheats. Huge rolls Royce Engine in that guy

I love my Advanced Acrylics lid. Didn't know of Cromag before I ordered my top, but I am happy with what I got.

Hey Fadi. What’s shakin on that side of the world? How is the virus over there.

We are getting 2000 new cases daily, around 10 daily deaths, I think its under control here.
working most of the time from home, sometimes I go to the office if I was needed

It is ironic that I posted this today. We lost her brother, Saber, a few hours ago. He had a multitude of health issues at 13 years of age. His time of suffering has ended. Sail on to my buddy.
