How do you get on the tank with the lights so low? Nice lids btw

They are usually 3" higher, but are fairly easy to raise and lower with the suspension system.

I've been feeling pretty lousy the last two days, so haven't gotten much accomplished. I did, however, finally get around to building the new screen tops for the beast. I painted them yesterday, and finished them this morning after procrastinating for months. Here are some pics:

I ordered the mesh from BRS, the frames from Amazon, and the printed doors from Etsy.

It takes some playing with if you're doing it by yourself, but yes. That's why I ordered the frames from Amazon. The BRS ones don't come with thick enough rubber, IMO, and it comes loose.

Greetings Heathens!

Two things that make this a sad day:

1) I have not seen my Coral Beauty all day. Highly unusual.

2) I've been wondering what has been going in with my snail population, lately. Now I know. I just witnessed my Matted Filefish ram a Margarita Snail off of a rock, flip it upside down on the sandbed, and then rip it out of its shell. It's got to go!
