Alright. Now that the inside was finished, it was time to move to the exterior. My color schemes are as follows: Orange for the exterior of the stand and canopy, and blue and white for under the hood (sump, filtration, etc). By the time this thread is done, you'll either appreciate my OCD, or be completely disgusted by it. hahaha. Here are some pics of the painting and finishing of the stand:

How are you feeling today?

Hanging in there. Hand still hurts like a ****, but the swelling is mostly down. I have some nerve damage and bone marrow edema that should resolve in a couple of months. Unfortunately, I cannot travel too far from a bathroom, if you know what I mean.

Given all of the heavy duty antibiotics, I am now symptomatic of a C. Diff infection. I have to follow up with Infectious Diseases on Monday to confirm and will likely have to start a two week course of Fidaxomycin.

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln says that the play was spectacular.

All joking aside, I get to keep my hand, so no real complaints. Thanks for continuing to check in.

Sorry to interrupt the silliness @rmorris_14 for some reef related stuff, but I have some updates. We'll start with this one, and I should hopefully have more later.

I mentioned that the new engineer gobies have been doing their thing and burrowing everywhere, right? Well, this is good for turning the sand bed over and getting to places blocked by the rockwork. However, it has been releasing so much fine particulate that my WC appears cloudy. Not a fan of the look.

So, I built a recirculating gravel vac with an attached 50 micron filter. Not on original idea, as I stole and modified something from Deven over at Reefdudes. However, I'm gonna give it a try to see if it'll help.

Nem Update:

Aside from being the likely cause of my infection, it is happy and healthy. Though, it is still moving around a bit looking for a perch that it likes. Currently mounted sideways on an arch. Here are some pics. It isn't all the way open, but for size reference, the larger of the two clowns is roughly 4.5"
