I've been on the go for doctors' appointments since 0800 this morning. Almost done and then Johann and I will be right there with you guys.

I had to rally and get the kids to the soccer field this morning. I went way too deep in the sauce last night…. Almost decided to just not go but I’m too stubborn for my own good sometimes. It was painful!

single mom saturdays are no bueno, especially when hungover.

It really is! The only thing I’d like is if they could make their own food. Other than that I would freeze time if I could. The oldest isn’t really what you would consider athletic. We do the sports just for the social part. He says he enjoys it but I think he most likely goes for the dandelions

Good for you being there for your kids, especially hungover. Our daughter did soccer, and softball when she was little. Then a town swim team , not school, in junior high. Then made the swim team in high school. Man, that was brutal! They take their sports seriously at this school. Practice at 5am to 7am, then school, then swim practice for 2 more hours after school.

Somehow, someway, I managed to survive another rotation around the sun. Today marks the big 45, and while things definitely haven't been easy as of late, I'm thankful for every moment of this crazy journey. For many reasons, but not the least of which because I get to hang out with you heathens.
