If another hit doesn’t do the trick then move along to something a little more potent like mescaline.

Haha. Yeah, it's been about 20 years. I'm a bit out of practice there. I do, however, really want to take a canoe ride into the Amazon and drink ayahuasca with a shaman.

A canoe ride into the Amazon would be fabulous. Hiking through the western Amazon is search of a shaman from one of the many tribes that use ayahuasca would be a little more treacherous. Finding a friendly tribe willing to share their “natum” might prove difficult. However, there are a couple of places in Mexico that make a sort of week vacation out of it. One could also go to Burning Man but I’d be leary of doing any there.

Just got done watching "Cannibal: The Musical" for quite possibly the 100th time. Perfect ending to an otherwise relaxing day. G'night, Team.

Namaste.

Good morning, Team Styx. Unfortunately, when feeding the tank this morning, I noticed that Butter, the CBB was stuck to one of the MP60s. Sad day...

I'm sorry :(
Thanks. Yeah, it makes me really sad, because I'm fairly certain that, despite the frequency and variety that I feed, it wasn't getting enough nutrition and starved.

Sorry brother. As you already know, CBBs can be tough to get eating. Unfortunately, the eating timeline is a short one and I believe this is the very reason many people stay away from them Especially so when they cannot view them eating, over a period of time, at an LFS.

Better things.

Manatee.

Yeah, agreed. I have had luck in the past with getting them to eat. This specimen was actively hunting, and starting to nibble on mastick and meaty offerings, but clearly not enough. This loss is absolutely on me.

Don't beat yourself up too much. That is, after all, my job!

On a happy note, I did my one good deed for this half of the year. I usually wait until June 30th but I couldn’t pass up the chance at getting it done early.

Spotted this guy just sitting on the road. He was a pretty big fella as I took a pic with my size 15 shoe next to him. I gave him a lift off the road and into an area with a nice pond.

(BTW - I’m so proud I’m going to post this on at least one other thread!)
