Thanks for the redirect!

Not sure which is the gutsier move - no QT or putting those two dottybacks in the same tank . . . (I may be biased - I had a purple dotty and a tomato clown claim a 55 a few decades ago; never could add another fish without an instant fatal assault.)

Started adding corals on Sunday. Zoas, acans and some hardy sps test corals.Went to wwc picked up some new fish from them as well.

Interesting as I haven’t even tested any parameters besides salinity yet and so far all corals are doing great. Just reinforces me to go back to my hands off approach which was my most successful reef tank. I find being ocd about parameters needed to doing more damage then watching my tank and letting it tell me if things may be off. So for now nothing but weekly 20g water changes will suffice!

Well not much going lately, ending the ugly phase and getting coralline on the Nate bottom. Everything is on auto mode and al my corals I added initially are still doing good. With that its time to get some more sps!!

Still haven’t tested a single parameter besides salinity to date  Kinda curious but I know once I do it’ll open a Pandora’s box, so I’ll keep on keeping on!

5 months in shot. Still no testing except salinity for water changes. Still in the tail end of the ugly stage tho. All in all things are progressing nicely and the coralline algae is a plus. Taking it slow!
