Amazing set up. Ive been cycling my tank for about 8 weeks while i was waiting to get my eels. Well, today they arrived. I ordered 4 but received 7. Tank is a red sea reefer xl 200 with 200 lbs of sand. Nothing in the tank currently. I have a large colony of gorganian I might put in there until I find some macro/grass for the tank. Did they hide most of the time after introduction?
Yes they hid quite often and took 3 months to associate me with food before they became comfortable

I’m soooo pleased with this fry tank within the tank. It even holds the freshly hatched live brine shrimp for the seahorse fry to eat all day long. The suction cups screw down onto the glass for extra secure suction and it has an area to place the air stone. I used it to replace the fry net I had. The previous fry net unfortunately would snag and hurt them but this acrylic one is amazing also the bottom of it is a a stainless steel mesh with tiny holes so the water can flow in.
