Sooo… as I spoke of my morning heater failure saga on the @SBB Corals thread, I came home to find good news mostly….
So I’m home. Took stock and generally very happy with the reef. There a few oddities such as 2 of my new Acros were somehow bonked off their perches. Plus a piece of digitata. Managed to Twilight back in place but the Dragon Coaster that was starting look fairly happy is now somewhere in the bowels of the rocks. Buuut….most everything looking good. Here’s a few pics I just took. Temp holding at 76.2 . Plus hitch hiking corals that are seemingly recovering and looking alive 3 weeks after being put in the tank.

Early Christmas present to myself. Anampses neoguinaicus . Went to petco. Almost grabbed a leopard wrasse but I already have a blue star.

Frag them? Pick and choose which ones to keep? I’ve still got some wiggle room with the rocks as well. And hope they grow enough to have that problem.

So last night my SCP 90 gyre was dead. Only 2 months old. Jiggered the 3 Nero 3 pumps fairly well but still….I was able buy a used SCP 70 from a friend and it’s up and running since earlier today. Some pics and a video. New corals too.
