Yup. It was usually side to side though, not up and down. Just hadn't heard it in a while.

What salt are you using? I know it shouldn't really matter, but I have Euphyllias and Gonioporas declining the past few months (previously growing well-some I have had for years) and the only thing I am aware of changing is salt. I have tried to maintain alk, mag, etc constant. Maybe it's just coincidence but I feel like I have to try changing something.

AquaForest Reef salt. Switched from Reef Crystals last summer

Thanks. Ironically my switch was to Aquaforest as well. Overall I like the salt a lot and guess I will stick with it. I am just grasping at straws, there is a green Goni I have had for at least 5 years and fragged multiple times that is now showing patchy tissue loss. Same for a glitter I have had about 3 years and another from TCK but I have only had it about a year. My euphyllia also don’t look as good and one torch is shedding tissue, but it is a recent addition only a few months. I just can’t think of anything else I have changed. I am not a big fan of ICP as I think most of the labs are not well run but I guess I will try one and make sure there isn’t something obviously way out of whack.

Yeah, I haven’t tried an ICP partly cause I’m not huge fan of chasing numbers. And Gonis are just temperamental at times I think. Good luck.

Just a few shots of the tank from earlier today.Flux has done nothing for the bubble algae. And there’s so much that physical removal won’t do much. Might have to try and get some mithrax crabs and maybe a fox face as I’ve heard they might eat it. Sea hare maybe?

I vote Foxface as well. My Emeralds were eating it but slower than it was duplicating. Added my Foxface and it disappeared in a couple of days. Still around but he eats it when he finds it.

I got a Desi tang for my bubble algae. He gets the easy stuff but has gotten spoiled and lazy with regular feeding. May get a couple emeralds for the harder to reach stuff. Also dental tools if you want to remove manually.

I've considered a Desjardi (or whatever) but decided on th Foxface instead.

My Tomini likes my Foxface it seems like. They'll swim together often. The "trouble" comes when the Tomini picks on the Lawnmower Blenny, then my Foxface gets between them and the Tomini backs off.

Haha I have the same relationship with my 3. For whatever reason the bristletooth hates the lawnmower.

Ok. Fox ok to go in. And my Bristletooth hates my orange spot blenny. So I know that story.
