He has a better understanding of Gonis then most it seems. I have about a 70% success rate with them. Two side by side, one could be doing great while the other one looks awful. It seems every Goni is a bit different.

Mine grow like crazy but I have problems with some other LPS I’ve tried. Can’t have the Midas touch for everything it seems! FWIW, there’s a lot of published research about them. Feed them, low par, low / medium flow.

I do lots of wrong things then. Some are in moderately low par but I’ve had some in par in the mid 200s with success and medium/medium high flow. Only direct feed about twice a month.

Added my ReeFi to the tank. It works pretty synergistically withe ReefBreeders. Still debating what to do with the 22 . Probably get inexpensive no name light make it a softie/lps/nem tank.

Steve, you should consider something like dog training for gonis. We send ours in with like $50, you let them hang out with your pack for a week, and boom, happy goni comes back. Eh?!
