Just did a water change of the water from the skimmer I removed. The home for hated critters tank was the recipient of that lol.

Everything nasty is in here. Made a deal with them, they get to live here and they leave my other tanks alone. They agreed.

Little update. Copied from @fishguy242 thread, so I didnt have to type again lol.

I did this yesterday.

- Setup 2x 40b tanks for temp holding tanks
- Took all items out of 50g tub and put into the 40bs
- got nailed by 3 scorps when removing rocks (knew they were there, but it doesn't hurt too bad lol)
- got bit by a hairy blenny
- washed all sand from 50g tub
- setup the 7' acrylic tank again
- took all rock in garage tubs and put in 100g sump and the 7' tank (100g tub was sump for 50g tub)
- put all contents of 1 40b into the 7' tank
- scaped the 7' tank
- cleaned gpa off a ton of macro
- cleaned gpa off any rocks that had it
- setup the doser on the 7' tank
- setup a carbon and gfo reactor for the 7' tank
- took the puffers I brought back from FL out of QT, took the small sea robin from Fl out of QT and put in 7' tank
- did hybrid ttm round for new scopes.
- took candy nems out of observation tank and put in 180 in basket to hold them for now
- took mini maxi I got out of observation and put in base in 180 to hold for now
- Made a massive mess of the back room

Today to Do List

- Move the nems to the 7' tank (possible going to move the setae, as well.
- finish cleaning GHA off the GSP rocks that are still in a 40b
- replant mangroves from tub somewhere in the 7' tank
- clean up the back room
- Change oil on Paxtin's F-150
- Change Oil on the De-Forester (Lifted STI swapped Forester)
- Change Oil on Damians V70R
- Take algae from scrubber on 180 and put on clip for the fishes to eat. (They are eating their own poop lol, so to speak)
- Go to LFS and pick up pallet of salt, as it came in Saturday

Will be posting updated pics of sump for the 180 when all done with it and will post some pics of the 7' tank back up and running when it is all done.

It refuses to shave, so not much I can do about it lol. But man do they have some sharp little teeth lol.
Here is a web pic of a hairy blenny. You can see the hair. These guys are mean little critters. Everyone I have was caught with hook and line while fishing of pinfish to use as snook or grouper bait lol. Also, if pinfish live due to not being used when fishing and are small enough, I bring them home and put them in the sumps of one of the tanks lol.

Very cool!

(I was actually thinking of a different kind of “harry blenny” but, then again, you knew that already! ;) )

I will get a pic of my male and one of the 3 females when I move them back to the 7' tank. They are currently in a 40b and harassing the hawkfish ( about time he got harassed, as he is usually the harasser lol)

The males are much bigger and colorful. They are actually reef safe sort of. They will eat all shrimp but cleaners and my harlequin. They would also eat really small fish, but I am talking less than an inch.

Yup. Most caught at Fort Pierce jetty. I go there to collect Zoas, NPS nems, and catch pinfish for fishing.

The zoas grow on the rocks and are exposed at low tide, so super easy to collect. They also are not your typical plain ole brown zoas. Green disk, orange mouth, and metallic green lashes. Or I have some purple ones that pics do not do justice for. They are speckled purple with what looks like metal flake in them.

Some of the zoas that have grown out over rock rubble or barnacles I have glued them to.

Very, very cool!

Fort Pierce is a nice place. I ran a couple of 100K ultra-marathons there a while back.
