That algae reactor is really good idea for some extra filtration on the 20g. Are you running it lights on 24/7? Really like the amount of orange frags you have in the new tank.

Tanks looking good! how far out from the wall do those random flow generators stick out ? I'm looking at adding a pair to my 50 lagoon

Check my build for a picture of them in a 50 lagoon. They are honking great things, but not noticeable if pointed straight forward.
I have them in my Lagoon 50 as well. Mine stick out pretty far on loc-line but that was done on purpose. I really like them a lot.

Thanks. I actually broke down all the tanks with the exception of the 50 lagoon. New job with massive hours and workload. Keeping it simple for awhile.

I kept the Tunze for the 50G. As I liked the easier maintenance aspect compared to the Arid. Both are fantastic reactors. I only run the lights reverse cycle on it.

It really helps the tank, but only recomend after its fairly well established, it can strip nutrients pretty quickly.

Not far, I didn't add any additional lock lines. Little bit of a shadow, but I added 2 AI Primes to the tank to get full coverage.

Still a fan of the tunze MAR?

Have a 90g that I’m trying to keep fairly simple and could see this being a nice addition. Main benefits are nitrates/phosphates control in a tidy, easy to access reactor, right? Never used one before so just wanting to make sure I have a good idea what I’m dealing with.

Thanks!

And make sure to post more pics

Hey there.

I absolutely love this reactor.
I honestly don't test for NO3 or PO4 with the exception of ICP every couple months. With that said, it has kept the nutrients pretty stable with these tests.

My NO3 is a bit high, but I feed heavily both fish and corals, LSP dominated tank.
Coral colors are very good, no issues, it's very easy to maintain.

Tank is looking great. I’m curious how you’re running all those powerheads?

Lots of random flow. They are all set very low with randomness, (switch from lagoon to reef crest).
LPS dominated, so not super strong.

I have an overly abundant amount of, (probably unnecessary), equipment for such a small tank, all left over from a 120 breakdown and having multiple tanks at one time. The GHL system definitely helps while I work every day, long hours.

Not changing the rock work, just moving to new tank. The tank currently is growing great and don't want to start over, I added some dry rock to seed the new tank.
Hopefully should be here by time Im done with this project....

Ripped apart the stand and re-doing everything underneath, besides I sold off a bunch of equipment and have to upgrade some others.

Stand is coming together... slowly.
New tank should be here around June- ish
Hopefully, I should have all plumbing, pump upgrades etc by then.
Not working, so little slower than normal, but all good.

New tank going to have lots of unions and a manifold for the return pump / lines and reactor.
Don't remember last time I cleaned this return pump, getting a little citric acid bath overnight.

Got the reactor plumbing finished. Waiting on the new tank.... patiently bored.... middle section of stand will have another reservoir for either Vacation ATO & or AWC. Haven't decided yet.
