Dialing in the ALK in my tank. High, low, high, low, just a swinging back and forth. About the time I get it stable my Cal Rx will be ready!

Set up a 30g jbj rimless for the wife's tank. It's nearing the end of the cycle and will be adding fish and a cuc. No clue what will be in there as I'm letting her pick the fish. I also just got my sump underneath the 120 and got the drain lines plumbed in. Picking a few more pic fittings and some more pipe, and hopefully will have the plumbing done over the weekend.

I put my phosphate reactor back on my 30 after treating with Kent tech M for bryopsis along with a 10 gallon water change. Also started on the new tank. Vinegar soaked and cleaned several pumps, my new used skimmer and several other things.

Did a 10g water change today and decided to rearrange a few things to free up a bit more bottom space for future corals.

Set up back up power for my sump pump, skimmer pump, and bubble blaster to my skimmer. These three essentially the circulatory system for my tank now are backed up in the event of a power outage. The key element is an inverter/charger plus two deep cell batteries for marine use that will provide power during a loss of electricity. I should have 8-12 hours of back up with this system. That amount of time should be adequate for most outages and will allow for time to set up a gas generator. The inverter store in White House has all the components and was informative if anyone is interested.
