Hi just started my first tank (75 gallon) and waiting for it to warm up to start the cycle. I got the sicce sdc 7.0 pump just running it off the app at 39%. It comes with all these modes and I was wondering do I use a mode for a return pump? Figured just want it steady returning water.

also I have mp40 and mp10. What is like the all around setting to leave those on? Right now I have reef lagoon but obviously can change.
Thanks for the help

Matt

For your return pump just run it in Constant mode since you are not running the tank in Closed Loop.
As for the wave makers running it in Lagoon mode is just fine for that size of tank. Reef crest mode is another popular mode for the Vortechs

Return pump should just be a constant. I like my MP's to run reefcrest during the day on antisync, and lagoon at night with a slower flow.

Basically calm at night, and chaotic during the day.
