Mine is still a work in progress.. here's the dry fit while I await the arrival of my new tank (there will be cross-supports on top, just not shown here). Stand is 36"*30"*29" (L*W*H)

Can anyone show me how they secured their plywood top to aluminum stand?

i just drilled holes in the plywood and used t-nuts in the slots below. although the brackets posted in #78 look way easier! lol

my stand is Misumi 40mm extrusion...

I know this is a show off thread of T slot stands, but I want to make a nano stand at,
24lx 14x25H. thinking of using 1" Tslot from tnuts and the hidden inside corner connectors.
with that length and with do i need center support at 1 foot?

design will be very basic box with 4 legs. tank weight would be less than 225# and that is 50# over for safety factor.

I'm gearing up for a Tslot build for a 36x20x20 tank... figured on a 36x24 stand made with 3030 profile single cross member top and bottom no vertical center brace. what kind of hardware do you guys suggest?? I have corner gusset and outside 3way corner connections. 1/2" Or 3/4" Pvc foam for top and some sort of sheets for doors and side panels.....sound like a plan????

The hidden corner brackets look good.... their strong enough??? I was told their weak.

I put off my little nano built with T slot for now. but from what i under stand the anchor hardware is stronger that the corner brackets. so ppl use both as we way over build stuff. better for worse.
3030 profile is a beast for a 36x24 tank! that already is over build. but then again I am not an engineer.
if you have not look at T nuts for hardware i found it cheaper.

The only thing I'm worrying about is the gusset brackets getting in the way.of panels and the sump deck.

I am not sure if you can see here, but this sump is inbetween the stand and will sit on foam and a board ofMDF, that I will water proof with pond epoxy, to catch any spillage of water. Just wanted to share.

not sure what you mean by hidden corner brackets? i used bored anchor connectors. the gussets you see are small corner gussets that i had bought in case i needed them, didnt need them but put them on anyway. here is a better pic of the connection.

These are what I was thinking along with the gusset style but I think the gusset are going to be a pain in the but to panel unless I panel outside the extrusion
