I basically got the largest tank that could fit haha, 72x48x26 . Just slid it down the steps.

I got my stand from framingtech as well. 60Lx36wx40h I used kitchen cabinet doors from ikea (the cheapest ones). IKEA cabinet doors were surprisingly durable and they have been holding up really well. I used magnetic latches to attach the door to the stand.

Oh yeah you can also checkout this video from Tidal Gardens. He has gone all T slot at his farm and I might copy his heavy duty adjustable casters for my next build.

I just ordered parts for a 2nd stand on Sunday from framing tech cause they were doing 20% off for the holiday. Ended up ordering the sticks pre cut to the lengths I need and am going to drill the holes myself. They shipped yesterday and it shows it should be delivered tomorrow.

I worked directly with Michael Nimmo at Alufab and he was great to work with. Strong communication. Based on my experience I can’t imagine he’s ignoring you. I’d try reaching out again.

I had a stand with leveling casters made by Alufab. This stand is 73" x 25" x 40".

I think this was cheaper than quotes by framingtech and F&L/FANDL. Tenecor uses metric profiles, which really are the same but designing DIY additions in my head is a little more annoying with metric. I had a terrible time getting an actual quote from Framingtech and F&L, let alone a response to any follow-up questions. I tried to contact them both once back in 2020/2021 and again a couple years later, same experience.

Alufab was great to deal with. They actually sent a form where you could change options and lengths to see how your quoted price changes. I personally wish I reached out to them sooner as I would've had this made a long time ago. Their site gallery doesn't show this, but if you order black everything actually comes in all black anodizing now. Their upgraded panels are also very nice and reinforced with metal.

I might have went with tenecor originally, and even considered their acrylic tanks, but after some digging their reviews online seemed iffy on customer support.

Thanks for posting this. I've gotten a quote from alufab for a stand 96x30x30. I was leaning toward silver but that stand looks sweet in black. The panels look nice also. I couldn't find any images of them.

I like the way your stand turned out with the wood grained panels. I have the black but now that I've seen yours I may need to talk to Michael about getting a new front panel. I just finished installing my light bars yesterday. I was initially worried about the gussets being too small to support the weight of the lights but it's actually very sturdy. My experience with Alufab has been great.

can you share more detail on the construction of the panels? Got any closer shots of the hardware? I have to make some for my frag tank in the next year or so and did wood on the main tank but don't like how the panels don't really stay flat and my 3d printed mounts need some redesigning
