Thank you brother, I run a service company and I bought these at my wholesaler, it was called Carib sea Life rock, came in dry in 40lb boxes mixed with small, large, medium pieces. The only rock I used mortar for is the one in the middle with the finger leather coral on it, but all the rest is just stacked. I used the Marco rock mortar for the center structure. I used about 200lbs of rock in my tank as well.
I did this with Fiberglass and Tonga Branch to cover a center overflow I havent Cycled the tank yet but an Idea non the less.

This looks brilliant.
I seen something similar somewhere but using eggrate with small pieces rubble rock glued to it then it just hooked onto top of overflow ( forget how hooked) so could lift it in and out of position.then the guy said was going glue some small frags to the rubble.
But yours looks even better.good job and that look brilliant in your tank.

The Crazy Thing is that no matter how much of this stuff you order its almost always not enough lol. great looking rock cant wait to see your rockscapingI’m in idea mode too lol
I can tell anyone that is doing this stuff that Superglue with heavy rocks is a joke! Get you some Reef welder epoxy it is the fastest and strongest stuff I have used. After doing 100lbs of dry rock so I can speak from experience. Why wait for hours? If you get a pot of boiling water on the stove and keep it that way then you can continueously keep adding water to a cup and the beads prior to mixing as its heat activated.
If you use this trick it helps, so your not wearing out a coffee cup in the microwave every 3 minutes. Reef welder by AquaMaxx it aint cheap but it really works. It comes in 2 colors white and purple. I am not sure about live rock or underwater applications? I did mine on dry rock uncured. I used a table spoon of the beads dumped it in a hot cup of water then used a chopstick to pull it out and knead it if your not fast enough no biggie put it back in the cup of hot water so it becomes soft again its kinda like making a mouth guard for boxing or football when you were a kid lol.

Finally got done with the negative space aquascape, it was a fun experience. Can't wait to start cycling and moving stuff over from the smaller tank. Please provide comments/suggestions. Planning to keep LPS and add islands in the open space down the road.

That looks great! Plenty of open space for growth and swimming.
Did you crush the rock up or is that a fine sand you found? I'm thinking of using the same technique
