I did some shelf rock work on my 210

Started playing with aquascape for the 540g. Not that happy with it yet. May add some big pieces of dry tonga branch

Is this considers minamalsitic aquascape based on sps reefers?

I'm trying to make sure corals aren't growing into each other after few year

I've decided to scratch the epoxy... I Think I plan on making frag plugs out of the many extra rocks i have and just glue corals to the larger flat surface. The rough surface will be epoxied onto the rock - This rock its difficult to tell where the plugs are placed so I think this will make it easy to re-plug them giving a natural look and being easier to remove.

I messed around with my aquacape today. This is only about 40Lb if not less.

I completely re-did my aquascape.... I just didn't love it enough.. I still have to add a few more peaks to fill in the fronts.. Let me know what you think

Seems the trend now is two or three big rocks and that's it. Personally I like it that way. More swim area and you can always add more later. Plus with strong LED and other lighting you can mount SPS on the floor.

Agreed... Plus I like the fact I can remove each piece as I know I'll be moving in the next 1-2 years and mount in the same exact spot. This is only about 25LB of rock and I had over 60LB to start

I got thee beautiful pieces of Pulkani (50 pounds total) from BRS and they are amazing rocks that really make the aquascape.

Off topic but Your Shaker cabinetry is stunning.. is the structure wood or metal? I plan on doing something similar to my T-slot stand but instead of solid colors have a 2" marble overhang with a 2" mitered edge (Formica), white cabinets, and aged gold handles...Hopefully I can pull it off otherwise just white..
Regarding your rockscape - I think it looks good but can look better and be more functional.. The reason I say this is because before I completed mine it looked similar to your. It took a week to decide to finally break the large pieces of rock. Once I broke up a few piece they where light and very easy to expoxy and made the tank appear larger. I took the least favorite piece and used its pieces for overhangs and considered coral placements. You will get a lot of rubble and this rubble can be used for frag plugs directly to your rockwork... good luck

Currently cycling my 220 inwall tank. I had a 75 before we built our new house so some of my equipment will need upgraded as I go...like those two tiny Kessil pendants...
Now is the hardest time for me, being patient waiting to put something in the tank.
