weather permitting i will have my build almost done tomorrow, still have to paint it, but im so ready to have my tank done that i can taste it.

One thing I would do is to lay out the rock and start to put it together, outside the tank. Once you get a few pieces the way you like the formation, use 1/2" acrylic rod and and drill them to hold them in place. You can use epoxy on the bottom one, holding the rod in place and then just stack the rock the way you mapped it out.

what t-5 do you have in there? thats the first tank that iv seen that actually looks like a true actinic pop without vhos.

Looks like a Heniochus butterfly to me, but still a neat fish. Beautiful tanks everyone! Keep them coming!

Hi, I'm new to reef2reef. This is a 440 gallon mixed reef with water-cooled lighting, 75g sump/frag tank, 40g fuge and its been setup about 8 months.

There are 17 pieces of aqua-mag rocks along the sides and across the back of the tank which are just now starting to grow coraline. These rocks are awesome and that's why I have so many of them. They give me plenty of room for corals but most importantly they are great copepod breeders because they are very porous.
