my rock is made into three towers which are vertical from the bottom of the tank to the top. the center tower wraps around the overflow, which is 4" off the back wall, and the other towers are also at least 4" off the back wall. the tunze wave box hides behind one of the end towers and fires down the back length of the tank unobstructed this way. this gives me a nice view from the back of the tank also, and gives the fish plenty of room to swim all the way around the towers. the tangs often circle the towers and it gives them lots of swimming room. detritus buildup is minimal with this rock configuration also, as the rock is only one layer thick except for near the base of the center tower which does reach clear to the front glass.

Planning on redoing the rock work when i have some time. Right now it has cave all over the place that my fish love. But i want a little more sand bed for more bottom corals.

Well. A friend came by the other day and we re did the full set up.

Still need to clean up the wires. But waiting on some until i decide what i want each thing plugged into. But have so much more swim space for the fish now as well as great grow room for corals.

This is the new 90g build we upgraded to from our old 55g!!! Finally after a year of planning and collecting parts its COMPLETED!!!!!

Wasn't sure if I should post here given my tank is only 110 gallons but I guess I wouldn't be the first to post here with a tank smaller then 180 gallons so here it goes. 110 gallon mixed reef. 60" ati t5 light fixture 6 bulb configuration with ati bulbs. 60" Reef Brite blue led strip light and 2 Reef Brite mini mag lunar led's. 3 Ecotech Vortech pumps. 36" Trigger Systems Ruby Refugium sump, Vertex Omega 150 skimmer, GEO618 Cal Reactor, and Apex controller. Minimalist look with only 7 pieces of liverock.
