So far she’s been well behaved. A bit curious at first but even the goby takes shots at her. Maybe prison reformed her, but I’m not buying it yet…Worried about that Luxo. I think all of us here are biting our fingernails!

This is a beautiful photo!
Thank you!! They really are an incredible fish, and I hope you’ll be able to keep one some day! This is a beautiful photo!
Really makes me want a hawkfish but i don’t have the room unfortunately.
That’s definitely my biggest concern. The plan is to give Luxo a chance, but if she throws a fit and starts to get too feisty, I’ll just remove her, and probably set up a tank specifically for her, probably the old Fluval tank.I can just hear the gears turning in Luxo's twisted little mind. New fish? New punching bags? Be careful.
They’re stunning!Update:
Today, I did a massive tank cleaning, taking apart the filter, powerhead, and heater and scrubbing them. I also really cleaned up the algae in the tank, which was starting to get out of hand.
I also went to the LFS and picked up the final three fish for the display tank! Say hello to:
Venom the Kamohara Blenny,
Goofy the Orange Spotted Blenny,
and finally, the Black Darwin Clownfish, Sharkbait.
I also bought an alveopora, which I’ll have to get a picture of once it opens.
The angelfish seems well behaved as far as coral goes, but seems to enjoy picking on my gorgonian every now and then. Luxo has also remained peaceful with the other fish, but has once again developed the habit of chasing and biting my hand.
Thanks! The two blennies seem to be getting along well! They’re so different in behavior that I don’t think they regard each other as competitors. As far as the kamoharas go, I’ve definitely read that they are more peaceful and easygoing among the fang blennies. They’re stunning!
How do the two blennies get along? I’ve been looking into meiacanthus in terms of a reef safe blenny (My Lineatus is dangling on the edge of being my enemy fish right now).
I think I might swap my Linear if everything goes well with what I plan in the next few months/year.Thanks! The two blennies seem to be getting along well! Thats.. Not an alve. Goni... Still prettyThe alveopora Frag opened up some more, so here’s a good pic:
I was told at the store it was an alve, but I honestly can’t tell the difference! Still cool!!Thats.. Not an alve. Goni... Still pretty
Alve count to 12. Goni count 18 to 24 tentacles. Yes, it's a beautiful piece.I was told at the store it was an alve, but I honestly can’t tell the difference! Still cool!!
Yes I am! Once all qt is done, I’ll probably put a Wennerae mantis in, or make it a Luxo prison, depending on how she behaves in the future..,,great to see your 40 coming along Sharkbait.. Are you using your Evo as a QT?
I love the aquascape... it first reminded me of the ocean.. well done..Update FTS!
Also, the kamohara blenny seems to have brought in ich, and it’s spread to the other new fish. Thankfully, they’re already in quarantine, so treating them shouldn’t be too difficult!
+1 on this. It is very pleasing to the eye !!I love the aquascape... it first reminded me of the ocean.. well done..
