Flameback’s doing well! Much more tame than my coral beauty, though that could be due to its small size. It sometimes nips at the clownfish and royal gramma, but isn’t persistent. How is the Flameback Angel doing in the tank?

Any issues with it nipping corals?Flameback’s doing well! Much more tame than my coral beauty, though that could be due to its small size. It sometimes nips at the clownfish and royal gramma, but isn’t persistent.
None so farAny issues with it nipping corals?
The two larger colonies are screaming eagle and birds of paradise birdsnest. The smaller frag is a type of acro (whose name I already forgot).Birdsnests?
That sucks. I hate to see local brick and mortar stores shut down. It is so nice to be able to go physically shop for corals and not have to rely on often heavily edited online photos plus have to pay shipping for online orders. My local fish store is closing, so I decided to go there and get some more corals. I also got a new yellow watchman goby, but he’s so small that getting a picture will be tough.
I’m hoping they come back eventually (they’ve switched to tank maintenance services and limited online sales). It may be a couple of years though, and at that point who knows what availability in the hobby is looking like. That sucks. I hate to see local brick and mortar stores shut down. Ps. You should get a lense kit to help get truento life color pics of your corals! I use the orphek kit and have been very happy with it.
My favorite coral shop closed about a decade ago. The owner was going through a pretty nasty divorce and his ex wouldn't play nice with the business so he had to shut it down. He swore he'd be back, but never followed through. Man, I miss their $5 frag section.I’m hoping they come back eventually. I’m lucky to have another coral vendor nearby where I can see things in person. I’ve seen enough horror stories about online coral to not want to buy anything expensive.
I should get a lens, just to cheap to pay for anything that isn’t living…
Awesome! I am glad they paired up for you! It’s been a while since the last update! So ever since the goby swam back into the acclimation box, I kept him there. That is until today when I decided it was time to give it another go! As luck would have it, this time the goby went right into the pistol shrimp’s burrow, and the two seemingly paired immediately! It looks a little funny because the shrimp is way larger than the goby right now!!
