A drop by day ten, again, that’s gold too from @rhitee93

hanna likely showed hundredths ppm readout vs that thousandths ppm above

Hanna’s report about ten times higher ammonia than seneye because seneye is nh3 and Hanna are nh4 readings…they have to be manually converted / estimated with pH and temp readings iirc

**a hidden and testable claim from updated cycling science threads is that’s everyone’s cycle logged above, they’re all the same because we all pretty much repeat the same cycling approach with surface area and initial feed+ bac sourcing

old cycling science (two million people on API with no hope for seneye) claim reef tank cycles take 30 days on average and vary up to ninety

but all calibrated seneye logs I’ve ever seen are done by day ten

seneye owners are calmed, resolved by what they see in pattern.

They aren’t doing things after day ten to help or unstick anything

once Casper logs his new tank seneye data we will have a pattern set in the same thread.

cycling disagreement threads wont happen when calibrated seneye is the data source= prediction.

Did you by any chance add fish on 22nd July? ;)
Gee, how'd you know? :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
Ended up adding some mature rock shortly after because my bio filtration started to struggle.

There were some prety wild water changes in there to keep ahead of ammonia. I should go back into my handwritten journal and note those days for you...

The readings wouldn’t have changed if you didn’t change the water

if that log above is from a cycling display reef with common rocks packed in the display / after day ten

the water changes weren’t required for guiding the cycle logged above, there was no out of spec measures

was that a bottle bac cycle, or live rock transfer cycle?

the only setup that requires water changes after day ten is a low surface area quarantine setup.
