What's your flow and placement

I have a Jebao SCP-90 and SCP-70 gyre. One on each end. Then a Jebao Sow-3 under the 70 about 4" off the bottom facing the same direction as the 70. Then a Jebao SLW-10 in the middle facing the front of the tank, behind the big rock tree. Also our Sicce 4.0 return, that's facing towards the 70, angled up and towards the back. :) I'll try and get a good video with all of them and where they are. I have them all set on ELSE and at max speed and slow pattern, I think haha

Really sorry to see that pic. My thoughts are there are always room for error in the test kits. With your alk already so high that extra 0.3 may have put it over the edge. With a bit of testing error the 12.7 could actually be 13.7.

This is why I like DKH in the 8-9 range. It allows room for error on both sides, high and low.
Nah, I test 3 times and record the avarage on titration tests. the reagent is cheap enough, it's usually the time that gets me. But I still test weekly.

@StatelineReefer. We're all here for you and so am I. Please don't give up. We're all been there. If there's anything I can send you, please don't hesitate to pm me. I've a lot here I can ship you, just say the the word.
This! Let me know when you think your tank is good to go again, and I'll send one of the frag colonies we got this sale. If they live in our tank, they should live in anyone's!

Alk is up 0.3 above where I normally keep it, but I switched from 2 part to Kalk for the PH boost.
I just got my Kalk in and within the next week im about to try kalkwasser for the for time, also for the PH boost. Not gonna lie, this scared me a little bit.

Another thought, is it possible with the alk already high and dosing Kalk that the PH went too high? Like 8.7

I wish I could get it above 8.3... but no... 8.08 is the highest I show in the last 30 days.

@StatelineReefer , I know you’re a stick guy, but let’s e know when you get up and running again. I’d love to give you a Goni frag(SBB of course!)
Oh, I'm a goni guy too, you just can't see them all in the back! Incidentally, they have no F's to give about this whole situation... living life as if nothing ever happened.

I also run a Jebao SCP-120 on one end (where the nems and torch are W1 mode at 80% . the other end, I have a Jebao SLW-30 -W1@ 100% and an MP40- reef rest mode 50% . I've been switching back between the W1 mode and else mode.

Gonna forget everything I know and let Shane guide me back to success. Probably the right way at this point.
worth a try for sure and you are definitely going to learn some stuff in the process. You can always tweak it later to add back in aspects of the way you are doing things now that you like but it cant hurt to learn a method that appears to have a pretty proven track record.

Stop! Guys, I'm touched, and thank you all for the offers, but I'm going to have a lot to do getting everything back to normal in this tank if it's gotten this far out of hand. Aquabiomics has been hellishly slow getting my results back, and I've been through a course of Cipro and a course of Amoxicilin, so if it's bacterial, it's beyond my ability to treat and will need to be sterilized. I have the split tank which has all new equipment besides the sump, which I intend to sterilize tomorrow (At work, because why not get paid for my hobby). This is probably going upstairs now, instead of the basement, so that I can properly monitor it. My game room will just become a fish room.

That’s good at least. I had one incident myself that I almost gave up . It was before the whole Goni thing. I had a whole set of really nice torches. Livin life and then within a week they all died. Nothing else gave 2 effs. My frogs and gonis were fine as well as a few other lps and the few SPS I had.

I quit. It was very nice to meet all of you, and I suppose if you're at RAP Cali I'll see you there, but it all seems like a waste now.

Lights turned up for the picture, nothing else changed.
Is it possible everything attacked each other ? Big frags close with long ext. Smaller frags look a little better

If you need a wavemaker, I have a tunze turbelle 6095 you can have. Very gently use, just doesn't fit my needs
