I found a magnetic rock I didn't know I had. I split it into 2, and chiseled out a cradle/cave for the nem to attached to. So far so good.

Really sorry to see that pic. My thoughts are there are always room for error in the test kits. With your alk already so high that extra 0.3 may have put it over the edge. With a bit of testing error the 12.7 could actually be 13.7.

This is why I like DKH in the 8-9 range. It allows room for error on both sides, high and low.
