Thanks, I read that before. I'm just using Cipro for now, when it first came in it was very sad looking, it was a huge improvement after just a few hours of the first treatment. So I think I am on the right path.

Looks like it! My strats been having some issues so I did a small KFC dip today. Hopefully will be improving soon

Day 2, I'll go the full 7 days, maybe 10, I'm just wondering if I should treat the Crispa as a precaution at this point. It looks healthy and full, hasn't been inflating and deflating. Mouth closed, but it was open for half the day yesterday, but it had also pooped in the bag during shipping.

This Apex has disconnected from Fusion 631 times during the past 24 hours.

The very large number of disconnections this Apex has experienced during the past 24 hours almost always indicates corruption on the Apex. While this is a rare condition, it's typically a simple matter for Neptune Support to diagnose and rectify.

Telling me to send a ticket for help desk. Everything is still running I just don't have access to turn off my pumps for feeding the corals.

Truthfully I could manually pull the plugs to shut down the flow but I am just irritated that for what I paid this thing should be top of the line.

Technology - sometimes old school may be better.

Completely understand, I would be too. Equipment failure is becoming all to common and the "oh well buy the new version" attitude is annoying too.

Honestly, other than the fact I can get an idea that nothing is going horribly wrong via my apex....a wifi power bar is all I need. Ordered one on sale for 40 bucks the other day

Fancy pants with a wifi power strip. I just reach behind the tank feeling the spaghetti mess of wires and pulling one hoping I get the right thing to shut off.

One of these days I'm put labels on those darn cords.

Only when the Apex is connected to Fusion sadly.

I was actually considering a Trident unit as a Black Friday purchase. Stuff like this does not make that choice easy.

I know those pretty well, have several single outlets around the house. $40 is pretty good for them, watch as BF comes around they might drop to $35, or have a coupon, or bundled with single plugs.

They are handy to turn remote pumps on and off say for water changes and mixing barrels.
