My bioload and feeding is so heavy i think my tank can eat it. Just worried if the flame scallop or a 6 year old trochus dies im prolly in trouble.

I have had a couple pieces with no PE so itll be cool if this really brings em back and maybe the root cause of some color challenges. 95% of my tank is just throwing down skeleton, i can legit see new growth regularly. Bizzare. Heres a confetti since december, 2nd pic was 12/17, the 3rd pic was 12/27, 4th was today*

Nice growth! That colony was probably bug free. I think the bugs have their favorites

Ive had a JF fox flame and RR Rainbow beast mode that have done absolutely nothing in over a year, maybe 18 months. I cant believe theyre still alive. That frag with pic/video was where i clipped the beast mode to induce growth, unsuccessfully. I had a PC rainbow (allegedly) that i grew from a total booger that PE dissapeared on about 6 months ago and has just stalled:

Im more happy to have nailed down potential root cause then upset about the pest at this point.

Perfect time to ask this :p I have been nursing an acantho back to health the last few months. I got it with skeleton showing, not eating etc. It is in a low flow, low light are in tank and doing better but not great. I target feed reef frenzy every couple days and it is now eating. The skeleton does have algae growth on it and the meat has never gone out past the skeleton. I dipped a few times with revive etc but not sure if it needs more.

I love the colors on all yours. I need to get some with yellow and orange.

Ours is happy and about 6". It's in the only spot I have space for it currently, and it's not enough! Lol

the amox did wonders for my meat
i don't remember if i asked this already, but how did you mix the amox for the dip?

i'm still struggling to keep my OG bounce alive, and it went back to melting. in-tank cipro helped keep it from dying, but it didn't get any better, either. definitely don't want to lose it..

@Ado . Handle it gently by the base. I use a dedicated small tub just for dipping. once you put in the meat. gently agitate water a bit. after put it back in the tank. I pour the solution into a 1 gal milk jug and store it outside my garage.

I mixed it good in a small water bottle (any bottle will do), and then I added it to my dipping tub with tank water.
