Im gunna go ahead and say it….. some of you guys need to learn to take photo’s. No offense but if you’re showing off a frag turn the flow off and get a orange filter for starters. Dont be afraid to use the zoom and focus features on your phone.

Everyone was thinking it… i just said it.

If i liked your photos this does not apply to you lol.

Not bad for a pic while mildly buzzed. I’ve been planning to change out the filter media in the canister so it might be a good time to put the majority of wavemakers on pause and see what I can get tomorrow. Minus beer.

i have a 12 pro max. i would love pointers. i have the orphek 52mm lens kit.

i’ll definitely start turning the flow off for pictures. would this only be beneficial during top-down shots, or the FTS?

For both but I have to admit I’ve had no major issues shooting pics with the flow on , particularly with FTS and partial tank shots.

I enjoy your video’s i think you have the best video’s on this thread, you and thuan with her torches lol. Id like to see your bugs closer up, it looks amazing. It was the reason i grabbed one this past sale.

My biggest problem is i put my rockwork against the back wall so all of my side shots are at best 8" away.... lesson learned on that scape.

Flow off lets your camera take advantage of a lower iso and higher shutter speed, the motion of the water/polyps causes the algorithm to try and snap the photo faster, increasing iso and decreasing total detail.

I personally find pro mode with some light whites on,the most realistic - orange filter enhances color but i can never get it to look how it actually looks.

You can always turn it off by tapping wmd holding your finger down activating AE/AF lock. This will allow you to move your phone closer or farther for focus.

WB likes high par my friend. And dont worry that one side is shaded, so was mine in that photo. The whole left side was shaded but the mew growth grew towards the light.
