I bought mine used at a steal. Already drilled so that's why I ran plumbing the way I did and had modular marine custom make some overflows. I would have preferred one 72" overflow with returns coming in on the outsides of it but I had to work with what was there. The guy I got it from never set it up and bought it in tampa...no idea who made it...its beastly though.

Nice. I’ll just need to decide on Blue vs Pro and how many to cover 48”x24”x24”.
The gen 4s are the best.
That’s thing is a beat. And that pic is a friendly reminder to myself that I’m playing with fire by not having a generator/inverter.
That's my portable one...have a big one too.

Nah. It's all marine paint and caulk sealed. Since I don't have a bunch of equipment in my sump my stand stays pretty clean. 125 has some salt creep in it but not much

Yeah, I think Shane, WWC and TSA all run the Pro’s. I’ve got the 4 across my 72” x 24”. Could have gotten by with three, but because the water box has that center overflow in the back, I would have had to hang the lights and I didn’t want to do that.

Also, I put the dispersion filters on mine. I was having some hot spots right under the lights and fried a couple of Acro’s. Filters dropped the PAR a little, but I still have plenty of power to ramp them up.

It was the alk swing they said I think. I'm seriously considering going moonshiners and doing only as much of a wc as I need to siphon sand with a skinny siphon. Maybe 5-10 gallons at a time.
Yes. Reef Crystals runs at like an 8 for me. Idk if it was just the bag I got or not, but aquaforrest was always so low. Like it would drop to like 6….

You have led bars?
I have XHO bar but probably won’t use it. After having a big T5 panel for so long, I’m kind looking forward to open space without bumping into bars or panels that spread across the entire tank. But, I know it’s good for the blanket coverage.

A new batch was 6 alk? Or when you say “drop” are you saying it started at like 8 and then dropped to 6 after mixing for a couple days?

That's true. But I wonder why it's true

@SBB Corals Morning. Shane, which salt do you use and are you considering changing. I’m still using reef crystals and thinking of moving to something a little cleaner with lower Alk.
Currrnt use a mix 50/ 50 of red sea pro and blue bucket. We are thinking to change to tropic marine pro lol
