Really, in Tampa? I'd think there would be lots of used tanks. You need to hire @Rennurdoar to do your second hand shopping in Florida. He has gotten some steals.

There are tons of tanks but they are typically unreasonable. For instance, 150 gallon with scratches, no stand and what looks to be a homemade reactor.. 1500 obo

For sure! @Ado watch Facebook marketplace religiously. When a deal pops up they go quick. I picked up our 90g, 2 sumps, big reef octo skimmer, 2 mp40s, and a bunch of other stuff for $100.

Then I got a deal on xr15s G5 Blues, a pair with reefbrite xho and another two mp40s for 600 I think. Very good deals to be found, just have to be the first one to see it lol.

you have to wait until someone has to move and cant take it with them or gets a divorce. it will happen soon enough ..cheap tanks! lol

anyone have success healing OG bounces? tried scouring r2r and came up with little help other than a cipro dip since it has helped with anemones. i dipped it in lugol's iodine on wednesday and it seemed to perk up a bit after dipping, but it started to detach itself off the plug as of yesterday. i'm guessing bacterial, but its been about a week and its been losing color, size, and bubbles (was a nickle size, and now dime size). this morning it detached itself from the plug it was on and floated around the tank before i was able to find it.. have it sitting on some rubble now.. really hoping i don't lose it. don't have pictures of it as i was too busy trying to look and tend to it this morning before work.

I have 3 mp40. One works. the other two don't. It doesn't spin or just stall. The dry sides are fine. I like to have them as backups like I have backups for almost everything

I took it out and clean. Not broken. One doesn't spin, and one the wet side just falls off.
