Yeah. Got a third batch of Iso. It's going. I boil the water to sanitize it. It's very finicky and the regular mixing bucket doesn't work.

I grabbed seachem calcium to start bumping up my calcium… been trying to figure out what’s spiking my alkalinity. Never again seachem, it’s no where disclosed in their product that it raises both calcium and alkalinity. But yet they sell a calcium supplement and a separate alkalinity supplement

Jeeze. I use red sea calcium and just buy the 5 liter jugs. I think it's more concentrated than esv but don't quote me..I know their mag is

Im expecting a Thursday delivery and its a bit rainy here. Id rather be safe and reschedule then to risk UPS.

California UPS is very sensitive lol, when theres rain they act like its snow.

It was one of those games of what’s raising the alkalinity. I accidentally spilled some saltwater into my ato which feeds into my Kalk reactor so through it was maybe precipitating something. Cleaned all that out until realizing it was the calcium. At least it forced me to do some maintenance. 8.7 to 10 alk over the past week. Only lost one acro so far so fingers crossed, just going to stop dosing Kalk and let it float back down

The reward is people getting coral maybe a week earlier and you guys being done with shipping. The risk is people getting dead coral and you shelling out doa gcs heavily. IMO the risk isn't worth the reward.

And if someone is upset about you trying to avoid that risk you probably don’t want them as a customer anyway
