no but it has been at the very top of my head. I believe that larger systems like boston aquarium uses this type of filtration.

Diatomaceous Earth filters are one of the very best forms of mechanical filtration. Since they filter down to the range of 1-2 microns they can easily remove parasites such as ick and velvet (even bacteria) from the water column, but they are hard to implement and operate.

Yeah. I first used a Vortex to address ich and have wanted to do it since. It is insane how clear it makes the water…. (and anecdotally the ich never returned)

I actually say right arm instead of right on in real life sometimes....followed by a brother...in a hulk hogan voice of course.

I spoke to Luca just about that when I hung up my Quanta. He said to hang them dangling and with some kind of space so that air can pass through. I have a small comp fan I can run if I want to

wouldnt worry about it. It should be ul adn ce certified which means that if it does start a fire you can sue the hell out of quanta.
