Hey I'm in AZ too! Tempe area, maybe once I get a little grow out we can frag swap sometime!I live in AZ. A few years ago we had the Light Rail Samurai defending people in the train.
We love water changes and do 15% every weekAlways nice when the W/C is done...for us cavemen...AND women..that still do them
Thanks for the reminder...Always nice when the W/C is done...for us cavemen...AND women..that still do them
Same. Smaller more frequent seems to work well.We love water changes and do 15% every week
I have sand that I like to clean with each change. Plus I know I'm changing 15 gallons for 15 gallons straight upI do roughly a 2% water change each day. By that I mean a pump runs that does it for me, and AWC is well worth any cost or effort to setup.
I have sand in my tank too, it stays fairly clean without me cleaning it. At this point it’s been so long since I’ve disturbed my sand that I’d almost be afraid to.I have sand that I like to clean with each change. Plus I know I'm changing 15 gallons for 15 gallons straight up
Did my 10% yesterdayDon't forget your water changes !
Get one of those IBC totes they use for aquaponics - those come in 275 and 300 gallons. Or a 75 gallon food grade plastic barrel.I need to figure out a better solution for water changes, even 10 percent is like 60G and I don't have a good way of storing that much rodi so I have to do it on demand which takes forever
I have one but no place to put it other than outside but living in AZ it's too hot and messes with tank temp and l leaches from the plastic. I use brutes inside and fill them day of the change but it's such a processGet one of those IBC totes they use for aquaponics - those come in 275 and 300 gallons.
