Yeah you know the drill!! Last season I went with Blosser the 2nd week of Dec. It was SLOOOOOW but there wasn't really any weather to push birds around.

However the last hunt at Kern was epic. I had my limit within 30 minutes

Yep, it’s much easier for me to spend 60+ days in the blind living up here then it is for you down there. Geese were weird last year I had 2 weeks of hunting that were unreal and a lot of days sitting in nice clubs in the sink looking at empty skies.

I honestly haven’t been unfortunately. The 2 year old has taken most of my free time. But my years usually go doing work with the dog all summer, chasing summer steelhead from end of August through November. Hunting ducks and geese December and January, chasing winter steelhead January through march. Then trying to make sure I get my yearly honey doo list taken care of during the down times. So my ocean fishing has really taken a hit.

Two year old? Oh you wait until he turns 3 lol. It gets even more interesting
