working on pics and stuff for the fathers day drop will open the new thread soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Good morning . Back to scrolling Facebook in hopes of finding an awesome yuma @SBB Corals teasers soon?
I used genrous estimates on all of the big draws, the heater never goes past 150-180, my AC/tank balance is very good. What lights are you running? Also don't forget heaters not running hard right now. They pull decent amps. @stoney7713 did the hookup with holders I just have not accepted the hookup fully in my brain that all I have to do is put in work to make it nice lol.
I dont understand what my tanks deal is with color - my colorfish has packed on some base and bulk but color mostly unchanged. Still easing my way into trace, definitely seeing positive color change but nothing crazy yet.Bottom left is colorfish. TR (big one I presume?) Is hell fire
No reason to really ease in to trace..it's either there in high enough numbers or isn't. These factors could also be spectrum/lighting or flow. Even just doing the kz 1 2 3 4 made an improvement in color but it was pretty good before that with a 15%-20% wc every week and a half or so.I used genrous estimates on all of the big draws, the heater never goes past 150-180, my AC/tank balance is very good.
Lights are 2 xr30 g4 and 3 unos. Peak isnt until 1pm but factored in another 40watts each.

Sesame street is on overdrive, fragged a front piece off, the back 2 branches have added about or more than the original coral mass.
What's that? The bucket buddy thing?@stoney7713 just saw this easy to-do bet there is some profit for you
Yep also think it would be good for tank side tooWhat's that? The bucket buddy thing?
Looks like a hose clip for w/c. I need one for tank and bucket. You don't know how many times mine slip and I end up cleaning the floor/carpetWhat's that? The bucket buddy thing?

I run a long hose from my tank to the sink when I do wc. but sometimes when I need to do a small wc or clean out my sump and I need to use the bucket
I have a pump running running back water into the tank. separate hoses. one for wc and one for water back inI'm thinking of getting a 75' hose so I can just run it outside of the house when I hook the pump up. Then I could also just pump the SW back into the sump
Oh do I have a story for you,a long time ago I was scraping the back of the tank, I had a hose running into the filter socks of the sump sucking the clumps of algae out of the display.Looks like a hose clip for w/c. When I first set up my ro/water station in my basement bathroom. I flood it several times when I was making water and it overflow. Hubby was so mad. He install a stop timer on my setup.Oh do I have a story for you,a long time ago I was scraping the back of the tank, I had a hose running into the filter socks of the sump sucking the clumps of algae out of the display.
Head behind the tank, using a magnetic scraper, next thing I hear is giggles and splish splash sploosh. Ava had pulled the hose out and was having fun jumping in the puddle.
That was a heck of a mess and many hours to clean, shop vac, carpet cleaner, fans, and even leaked into the basement.
I have my RO and saltwater in the basement, float valves on each. I need to get a pump powerful enough to pump water upstairs. Cut out the bucket brigade up and down the stairs. When I first set up my ro/water station in my basement bathroom. I flood it several times when I was making water and it overflow. Hubby was so mad. I use a jebao pump and pump the 50gal waste water upstair bathroom and use it to flush toilet. Save what we canI have my RO and saltwater in the basement, float valves on each. I need to get a pump powerful enough to pump water upstairs. Cut out the bucket brigade up and down the stairs.
Use gravity. Ro will pump upstairs so i set my wc barrel out of the way freshly cleaned. I have a pipe cut off to exactly the level I need to empty in tank in an upside down u with a little left over in bin when done for other things that water goes down gutter and into area under porch... no weeds.I'm thinking of getting a 75' hose so I can just run it outside of the house when I hook the pump up.
