We need to exchange phones. Ny other hobby on the side is also bonsai.. I have a lot of japanese maple, 2 cork bark Chinese Elm, 1 Colorado Spruce, 1 Satsuki Azalea, 1 pomagranite, and 1 fukientea.

Not to change the subject, but this conversation makes me think of something I’ve caught myself doing. Whether it’s my Bonsai’s, fish or corals, I seem to spent 95% of my time on the ones that are struggling or sick and only 5% on the healthy beautiful ones. Anyone else do that? Guess I’m just an old softie caretaker worrying about the ones that need help.

Yeah..bunch of reefing buddies have had problems in the last couple of years

they are garbage now, i ordered some fish and CUC and it didn't even come in styrophome, so the box got partially smashed and burst one of the bags so then that further degraded the box, i think fedex or ups actually had to re box it or just put the whole mess in a bigger box, cant remember for sure but it was a mess shockingly most of the fish and cuc whose bags weren't burst survived. Their packaging to say the least was substandard. Will never buy from again. they give credit for the dead, but then you have order from them again, i'm pretty sure i left some credit on the table cause i just didn't want to order from them again.

They used to be legit apparently...

They were, bought from them several times when they were still quality, but more recently it was really bad. I for the most part have given up buying fish on line, never liked it much but there aren't any good fish stores near me, so now mostly i drive to the one that is an hour and a half a way and hope for the best.

Actually is from you old neck of the woods if I remembered right and your from Vietnam. It’s a Premna Microphilia which is indigenous to the rain forests in Thailand. It has extremely tiny leaves. I see your Japanese maples. I lost four of mine when I moved here because the heat fried them. Having to switch to more heat tolerant varieties.

Maples don't do in FL because they need winter to go dormant. If you were able to grow it, I'll would send you one
