I’ve used LiveAquaria rlywice with very mixed results. I don’t recommend them. I loved it when they shipped me hermit crabs without the crabs. Ie: empty shells. Got reimbursed but really !

Yeah..bunch of reefing buddies have had problems in the last couple of years
Oh. I won a gift card for there. I ordered from there almost two decades ago when it was Dr. Foster and Smith LiveAquaria. Back when yellow tangs were $15.

I quarantined my own fish from local stores when I first got back into keeping a tank, but didn’t like having to worry about two tanks. Bought several fish from Dr Reef and I’ll never go back to doing it myself. A lot more expensive but for me it was well worth not having to do it or worrying if they were going to die or not. He sold me some beautiful healthy fish.

I got my pink streaked wrasse from Reef Pro and it’s been doing great. Chunky little guy. Or gal.

The only problem I had was waiting and lack of communication.

That doesnt sound good. Especially in a company that has high end fish like for 32k. but i guess if you didnt pay 32k you dont get 32k worth of service.

Meh, shavings make a pile as they say in sales at my company. Shane and team have great communication even if you just get one thing in a sale vs. whale out like @billyocean and company.

I think a great business owner would care as much about the customer who spend $100 as the one who spends $32k. That means he really does appreciate all his customers And loves what he’s doing for more that just the money.

Indeed...but that 32k fish is flying private! That's the clientele you're dealing with in those deals.

Like said..communication is communication but to act as though that 32k fish wouldn't take precedent over that 100 dollar fish would be lying to yourself..lol. I get the whole from top to bottom is the same treatment...and I agree btw...but who's kidding who.

Not to change the subject, but this conversation makes me think of something I’ve caught myself doing. Whether it’s my Bonsai’s, fish or corals, I seem to spent 95% of my time on the ones that are struggling or sick and only 5% on the healthy beautiful ones. Anyone else do that? Guess I’m just an old softie caretaker worrying about the ones that need help.
