For me it depends on the time of year, meaning right now with a 105 heat index and the house stays closed up, about 8-10 days. Winter time about 3 weeks using BRS media.

Wow! That’s a pretty big temp swing. I would love to get those night time temps. Here it’s 79 at night and 93 day with 80% humidity. Heat index around 105 mostb of the afternoon. Makes walking 18 holes of golf suck. Aired out the house this morning and got the inside CO2 down to 450. Cooked breakfast and it shot back up to 620. Never ending battle.

Morning stupid ?. Looking at getting the icecap co2 scrubber and not sure of the hookups. does it hook up to the skimmer

We have had odd weather this year. A lot cooler than typical. Usually by mow it is weeks on end of triple digits with it being in the low 90’s at 11pm but i’ll gladly take this year’s weather lol. Last year we hit 117. Thats almost @tbrown kind of living.

Im going to order one of them co2 readers. I never really checked my ph because I figured my tank was getting decent fresh air since the sump and skimmer breather tube are 12” to 24”from the dog door. I just recently put the ph probe in because i started dosing kalk. This might explain some of the issues i have had in my tank if im still this low even with kalk and a scrubber.

I've seen some crazy stuff with my own eyes..don't know if it was ghosts necessarily. For real though..Google a fox screaming..lol. I feel like a lot of people think that's something else.

We have a fox family that lives down the road, every once in a while i see them out playing. when i was a kid my dad used to hunt fox and the calls he used were very eerie. The coyotes are the ones that get me, sounds like a pack of banshee children murdering each other.
