It would be pretty straightforward for me to add diffusers to my shades that don't obscure the pucks if there is interest.
I just need to source the screen material. And thanks for the props!

It dawned on me a short time ago that it’s been exactly a year to the day that I moved into the SR60. Posted a little retrospective on my thread, some progression photos and one of the 30l just before the move.

Good morning beautiful people! Here's a new video of the tank from yesterday! Heart attack and green crack I think are on their way out. But the tiger, green goblin, scooby Doo and Harry Potter are still doing OK.

Torches and hammers are doing excellent, same with mushrooms.

Still think it is the tilefish nipping?

No, he seems to be leaving them all alone after that initial one. It has to be flow I think. The acros on the right side are doing better, that's also the side the return flow is on. I'm thinking the other side just hasn't been getting enough flow. Going to turn the other gyre to a different setting. Currently it's set to pulse/crossflow so it's on for 10-20 seconds then off for 10-20 seconds.

I had both gyres that way, but opposite so one would be on while the other is off. They're at separate ends of the tank facing each other.

Oh your pulse needs to be much closer together. I do one and one off and one and a half seconds one to create a pulse. I'd love to hear what others do, but I pulse much closer together.

10-20 seconds off leaves too much dead time in my opinion.

I've gotten the 2 Neros set for Random medium on the right side and the Tunze 5040 set for alternating pulse with a break of 1 second on the opposite. Plus my returns are set for pulse

I turned one up where it was on constant last night on the ELSE setting. I'll see how it's going this afternoon when I get home also. Hopefully better, I'll get it back to good again soon I'm sure.
