That seems very limiting. @pandaparties I was in Indianapolis less than 24 hours, landed 8am Wednesday and flew out at 6am Thursday. You get used to it.
Here is a reminder to test once in a while. Last night i tested and alk was a little low. So I let it go but tested again today, and it was a little lower. So something is off, consumption hasn’t gone up that much, start looking around and testing things and see my alk on the doser isn’t working but can’t see why. Alk in the container, the the “drive shaft” is spinning. I start looking at the connections and everything seems normal start messing with it and this connector just falls apart, apparently it was cracked but holding together enough so it didn’t just fall off but enough for a syphon break. Weird, no idea how that happened, and it had to be working up to a few nights ago, and I never touch them unless there is a problem. Then of course it took me forever to find some spare parts. What a pain in the butt for something so small

It pays to test. I test and could tell you pretty much what the number will be before..buuuut..if there's ever a problem it's caught quickly! A few new pics of the new corals as well as the tanks together this evening. Nice PE on the new Acros and new Gonis looking pretty happy, starting to open up. The other Acros are looking pretty good as well.

That it is. if nothing else, I certainly know how to fill a tank. July sale will probably be last potentially substantive one for me for a while. I’ve got almost 400 in cred to to use so I want to probably get one or two “high impact” pieces or a few smaller ones.

Whats the budget? I highly recommend a HG or HG variant. Beautiful corals. This is the one I have from SBB. I counted them today. 10 of my torches are SBB. Out of I believe 15.

Depends on how big you want your torch. Goldilocks is a pretty good sized one, whilst tigers stay on the smaller end.

Remember the odds. You’re thousands of times more likely to die driving to the grocery store than in an aircraft. It’s just not as spectacular.
I will have to agree though, if your not in the front seat driving, it sucks.
