Speaking of lights. Providing the replacement I got works properly I’ll give a proper opinion in a few days. Mine started acting wonky too soon to properly evaluate them.

Mine live in an acclimation box. The thing I didn't take into account was that the clear acclimation box has been covered with corralline so it blocks a lot of light that used to come in.
Mine is a cleared box, so I don't have to worry about light. May I ask why you have yours in the box rather than out in your tank. Is it because it may wanders. ?

How's the corals going?. I added a 3rd A360X to my 65 to go with the 2 quanta mesa blue. So far so good.

Hanging in for the most part lost 2 Speciosa, I think partly because the lights were messed up. Also lost a couple others. Can’t wait to have proper lighting again. I’ve been running at max 40 watts for 3 days+

The luxdium is for hd..Dunn if ypu have the 16 tho..won't work on those I don't think.
I have the 16 hd so it looks like it should work, just with the flashing and other stuff, I’m wondering if it will work but It looks awesome. I may try it just to have a backup light.

The 60 has the ReefBreeder lights that works wonderfully.
You just gotta remember that light is super strong. The xr15 you were going to get if running at 100% is that light running at 35%...and 50 leds vs 114 leds so even at 35% it's stronger. Definitely figure out how to work them better on this go round and keep them low to start. Acros in 180-200 par will be fine..they won't flourish but they won't just die.

People do tank blackouts all the time for cyano and other algaes..the key is to ramp back up when you kick the lights back on over several days. When I increase light I increase by 1% which in my case is 3.571 par from top to bottom every few days.

This is in general..not over a blackout

I turned them down immediately when I got the first unit. I’ve been running them at 14-17% the last several days while waiting for replacements. Yeah they were supernova bright at preset levels.

If the vipars are 100% white and blue it's something stupid under each one like 1200 at the waterline hung 14" above.

Yes, exact that. Way too afraid of the damage it could do.

Man I just like the AI app so much more than that noopsyche. I like having my Nero and prime in the same app too. Are the noopsyches water proof? :face-with-tears-of-joy:
No idea. I'd guess not. AI does have good apps... Trade off. I see AI lights have issues as frequently as red sea seams though.

Yeah, I like the Nero controls. Easy peasy. I have 2 on the 60 and one for the 22 all on the same app.
