By the way, I'm envious of your pictures! I started my military service wanting to Fly jets also. Grew up watching iron eagle, top gun, etc.

I had my senators recommendation letter, and everything I needed to be accepted into the USAF Academy. Dreams were shattered when I sent in my medical records and was denied acceptance due to asthma in my records as a child.

Ended up going Army and working on avionic survivability equipment and radar. Missile jammers and the such. Never did ever get to be a pilot. But flew plenty on helos haha.

Still think about getting my private license, but my lungs aren't the greatest since Iraq/Afghanistan unfortunately.

Get a St Thomas, they naturally bubble. Btw, thanks, I think it is the compressor. I opened the vent area below the unit and it was the Diversetech condensate pump.

OK I'll look into those also. Those godzilla frags the guy is selling are 2.5" and only $100. From what I was seeing when I did a quick search, that's a great/insane deal. May go pick one up, he's local and posted in a local trade/sell group.

And no worries, I've worked a little on air conditioners, just 100 ton units at the airports that hook up to the planes lol. But theory and equipment is pretty much the same, just larger. Glad you figured it out!

Sorry you missed the flying, but sounds like you had good training in the army. I actually failed the hearing test 3 times before getting in. I grew up with a shotgun in my hand from age 6 and never knew what ear plugs were. I was lucky. Can’t hear jack s__ __ t now but I hang out with other old pilots who can’t hear either so we all talk loud. Haha!

Right there with you on the hearing! Grew up in Missouri same way. That, and always working on the airfield a few hundred meters from the runway. F22s with afterburners on are a little loud. Same with the F35s. Worked with those a lot this last year.
