Hey, the good news is the people that hit the traffic signal were digging under an expired utility locate ticket and we're therefore not digging legally.

That reminds me i better check with my underground guys to make sure their ticket isn’t expired now lol. Same guys that hit a gas line on Wednesday before Thanksgiving as i was literally finishing my breath after telling their foreman not to dig next to an unmarked water line we exposed because i didnt want something to happen on a wednesday before a holiday. And the gas line was located smh

Two different locations. Domestic line turned out to be abandoned. He had asked me if i wanted him to put a band on it and drill it to see if it was live. Meanwhile his operator hit the gas line trying to hurry up and help his spotter that was hand digging to expose the line. Line was sanded and had warning tape. That operator had a bad thanksgiving. Hopefully he was at least thankful to be alive…
