Oh thanks for the reading with my coffee now. Sitting here taking lots pf drugs cause today I have to have a 2 hour surgery to get a broken tooth out, which broke when a truss from the house addition project we doing hit me in the jaw and broke my tooth into 3 ! So no I have to have this crazy surgery and a bone graft done in my jaw and then a implant put in about 4 months or so..Anyway I have 4 radion gen 5 on the 300. Almost went with reef brites but after reading this I am glad I did not...I was thinking of switching to orphek lights but now I have to wait since this surgery is 9k and insurance does not cover it...
Hey Sauce the tank does look really nice, so happy for you that you bounced back from the disaster..I really like all the colors...

Ooh man I'm sorry to hear about your tooth. That sounds about miserable... Did you take the offending roof truss down and burn it?

hahah... I would burn it but, my friends and I took them off so I can reuse them to add on to the front of my garage since they are the same. I want to close in the back of the garage and make it a 10x20 room so that I can turn it into a fish room with a 600 gallon peninsula tank Thinking of 4ftx8ftx30inches tall. Then turn the 300 into fish only so I can have angels and butterflies...The new roof trusses make the whole house now 12 feet vaulted ceilings...garage is only 8 feet tall.

thanks Sam...I am not used to taking these sort of drugs for pain etc...I am pretty relaxed..glad I have the tank to watch..fell asleep in the recliner watching them last night

yesterday, I went to a tank tear down that someone was doing...I got a 7 head duncan, tubinaria and some purple gsp..for free. I put the gsp on a piece of dead coral I found near the ocean one day. It is kinda shaped like a xmas tree so i think it will look cool as a purple tree hahah. I also have some green gsp i am trying to have grow on my back wall...

My View (It doesn't suck at all)

Another day, another load of coral into the big tank, another day covered in super glue

An even dozen hammer/spawn folk with plenty of room for additions later.

Took my time gluing in corals. As of today, I'm finally done adding all of the coral that made the final cut.

There are two corals that I know already I want to move ( purple Stylo and a small gorg) but those will be fine for a bit.

I'm pretty happy with the left and right sides.

The center higher flow and higher light mount will be getting added to as I reaquire small colonies and frags of acro to replace what was lost.
