i have 7 babies from my last batch and my male is holding again, should be any day. i was just trying to gage how long until they would be considered a tradable or sellable size.
They'd grow much faster if fed a ton. They're voracious. I've not been in a hurry.
If you've room under the stand for a 10-20 gallon tank it may be worth it. could probably creatively plumb it into the system.

Mine are growing in my refugium and have a never ending supply of pods and mysid shrimp. They have easily quadrupled in size, with the tail already pushing 3/4 inch long. I feed them a small frozen brine cube each evening when i feed the rest of the fish. I dont really plan on doing anything special other than just keep dropping them in my fuge anytime i find them.

Petco sells them when they are TINY I would say as soon as they start eating good sizes of frozen food, you’re there.

Gave away/traded the lunaire wrasse, the black and gold damsel, the blue damsel, and the dragon wrasse for a pygmy red rooster.
I had to take apart most of the sump to get the blue damsel so I'm taking the oportunity to clean/modify some stuff.

To make the modifications I want, I need to tie the exile & frag tank main drains to my DT's secondary drain. This will eliminate the random drain into the sump so the rollerMat can move to the right.
This will improve maintenance and reduce the amount of bubbles near my Apex probes.
In this photo I've tried elongating the drain pipe to wrap around the other side but it just isn't enough unless I design a special kind of pipe that would look odd.

This is with me just testing... Kalkwasser stirrer does the rest. I have to add Trace and Mg once a week (I should dose - have 2 spare channels on my DP-4).
The drop in early June told me I needed to re-up the kalkwasser. (I turn down the dosing when I re-up; this time unnecessarily.) It took me moments to re-up the stirrer with $0.35 worth of pickling lime and I'm good till August at least.

Before: I had a pipe that bent around the exile tank drainage (open pipe) into the rollermat.
IMG_4719(1).JPEG
I had to reconfigure some pipes:

Then I could install the rollermat: (added a nitrate absorbing pad to shield the probes from bubbles

Reinstalled cleaned skimmer:

Dammmnnnnn - looks good! But where's the rats nest?

This looks too organized. I'm suspicious.

Thanks! The control board slides out on ball bearing drawer runners to reveal the sketchiness behind the façade. I am a Midwesterner.... there will be sketch, just well hidden.

Think I can fit an algae scrubber in there? Convert the sump into pulsing xenia fuge with a Noop Mini.
Pretty sure you'll figure it out N be done in a day or two... ;) :)
