So the scrubber has not grown any algea at all so I made my own screens and am trying to seed them with the light I know works. Will then add the screen to the scrubber and see if it dies off or grows. Getting very frustrated with equipment that does not work

So after trial and error I had no algea growing and melted what I put on the screen so I turned the flow way down and left the light on for 24h only using one of the strips of LEDs after 4 days I have growth after the screen is full I will add another strip and see how it goes. These leds are very powerful and with to much flow the algea was never able to adhere to the screen

So I'm convinced its the LEDs in the ats not being able to be dimmed down. I have rigged a light that I know works on my refugium to a dimmer. I have it at about 50 percent right now. Will report back in a week with growth report and if it works will be making modifications to the ats top to accommodate this and another light... if this works I'm going to be pretty upset seeing I should not have to be doing this to a product.
