Got the rock work and sand in today. Pretty stoked about it! My buddy Fritz Helmke helped with the design and the epoxy. I think it looks amazing!

Beautiful tank!

I was reading your equipment list and if I remember right Aqua UV states the wiper should not be used for salt water applications. I have the 57 watt non wiper version on my build and it works great. Just a heads up

Looks like GlassCages has come a long way. Any close up pics of seams and silicone job?

Please.
Here are some pics. I will try and get a better close up. Joe from Glass Cages is on here too. He will send some new tank pics. He bought the company in October 2019 and they have come a long way. He is a great guy and will do what he can to take care of the customer. It’s black on black silicone.

@jcdeboe, sorry in advance. I will not hijack your build thread which is Awesome. I will do one post on this for @BZOFIQ. I am so proud of the renewed passion at Glass Cages and gotta share.

Major Company transition in 11/2019. Below is a highlight of Phase 1.
Glass Cages Transformation:
• Leadership Change
• Quality Assurance with QA Check Points
• Digital Production Tracking
• Improved Customer Service
• CAD drawing and approval processes
• Major Investments in Fabrication Equipment
• Polished Edges are now standard on all builds

We are now in Phase 2.
Product refinement and innovation.

we are having a blast!

Lets get to you question about seams and silicone. Our Facebook Photo Albums has hundreds of pictures of recent builds.

Below are three pictures of a show tank recent build. This is a very interesting build. This show tank has a blend of Clear and Black silicone. I believe it highlights the Glass Cages attention to detail and craftsman just as this build thread's show tank does. Bottom and vertical seams are in Clear silicone and the horizontal top and the concealed water line interior tinted strip are in Black silicone. I also added a close up of the corner so you can see the separation of the clear and black silicone.

Here is the fun part. We are continuing to support the community with competitive prices and in a build time of 6 weeks or less. Radical!

I am so excited and proud of our Glass Cages Team. We look forward to hearing from you about how we can serve you better now and in the future.
