I was going to catch a Desert Iguana the other day. The guys didn't believe it was an iguana though, so they looked it up.
I’m pretty sure this is found footage of the giant desert iguana…

Im not on here near as much lately, trying to be a more productive worker at work. lol

Everything going pretty good, Ive been dosing KZ 1,2,3,4 Acropower, vitalizer, flatworm stop.

Haven't lost any coral, Most of the stuff I got in the last sale seems to be looking good. Still a little confused on the PE, Most of my tenuis has had a lot of PE since the sale but they look healthy? They are definitely getting pretty good flow and decent light. I have my flow up to 60% on my nero with an RFG on full power and I upped my lighting a bit more. Seems like everything is liking a little more light. My soda ash dosing is keeping my DKH around 8.0-8.5, so im not swinging like crazy anymore.

I am starting to have issues with green hair algae again and bryopsis. Its annoying because im a bit picky about the display, so im in there pulling everything i can find and its popping back up again. I am in the process of doing a fluconazole treatment and then I need to figure out how to keep it from getting bad again.

I did add a purple dotty back and it was doing great but got caught in the Nero because I didn't have the guard on it. I really didn't think I would need it but lesson learned. I apologized to the fish gods and added a neon dotty back. Tank is full, but I like it. Im pushing the limits a bit for sure, but that's what I wanted to do.

Its kind of interesting that when I started, buying a tank was an intimidatingly expensive purchase but after spending so much money on coral and other stuff, a new $1000 tank doesn't seem like that big of a deal. lol

The nem crawled 8 ft and tried to go down the overflow. One of upstairs bin overfill and and flood entire downstair. Done octosoawn issues and few other items. A lot of electrical has to be replaced because it rained down on the timers and electrical for one of the rows of bins downstair .

Who wants to help fund my tank build!?(because I'm broke)

*note: some funds may be funneled back to Shane because coral alimony expenses.

So my tank build changed several times. 1st I was going to just replace my red sea reefer250 to a newer one since I got it used. Then I got (wife hates me, this tank is still in the garage) a 400g 96" x 36" x 30" tank. Realized living room floor will probably not support 8,000 lbs give or take. So finally settled on a 200g tank... that hopefully my floor does support?

Anyway... I hate fb marketplace etc so:
1) I have 2 Ai 16HD primes purchased in March2023 with gooseneck. Hoping $200ea based on the excellent condition and included mount.

2) 1 mp10 also purchased in March. Mobius ready... $200.

3) octo biopellet reactor. Br110 pretty clean. Set for barb adapeter... $100

4) alkatronic.... 3rd gen. purchased used. Serviced it. Purchased new fittings, hoses, reagent, new ph probe. Unfortunately hate the interface.... never fully ran it. Priced as is, anyone that's patient, willing to tinker with it, familiar with alkatronic or mastertronic or for parts. $250

Anyone here have a need?

That is the worse... I have lost several nems with powerhead incidents myself. Non got stuck in the overflow tho. I did find a baby nem once in my sump (clearly it went down the overflow).... nothing after I got those pond baskets tho. Definitely run carbon in the tank for any nem toxins imo. Sorry that happened to you.

it's not mine. It's a vendor. @wes84 purchase a high end hammer that didn't make it to shipping because the flooding apparently did in the hammer.
