Question! Do torch corals split, bud, or do you have to Frag off parts of them?
They split sort of, the head gets bigger gets a second mouth, and the skeleton grows such that what was one branch with one head becomes two branches with two heads, it’s a slow process and sometimes it becomes three or more heads. Just like a hammer or frogspawn

I know I have no say in this.... but that sounds like a silly schedule. (I can't help to look at things logically). If you are already in Oakland CA..... its easier to stay the day and fly out to Seattle. Or fly out to Seattle a day early and just sight see. Then fly out BACK to Sacramento.
Agreed, silly, but Sacramento is "tentative". Unfortunately I'm on customers' schedules, so if the meeting isn't set in stone I'm just waiting. I haven't booked travel for that yet, somestimes I book only a day in advance.

Seattle makes sense, coming home to see my wife and daughter and tank. I could have booked direct. Oakland to San Diego is an hour and a half flight. I was supposed to stay the night in Oakland and out, but I'm opting to skip the customer dinner and just get home.

When you think you’ve lost one, think twice. This is a SBB “no name“ I got back in February. It was one I knew I was going to lose. I went with the philosophy of never give up. First picture is in May before I started making changes to the tank. Second picture is today. Color is starting to come back and it’s polyp extension now is about the best in the tank. I’m thinking in a couple of months, it will be back to dark blue and yellow. One of my favorite parts of the hobby is saving the ones that aren’t happy.

My girls goes back to school Wed. They ask me if they can go to our favorite Sushi Restaurant for dinner tomorrow. Hubby and I couldn't say no to that. Plus, mommy has a day off from cooking
... I can never eat Uni without thinking how it would have liked my coralline algae.
